Revolutionary Storytime

Join us on Sunday, June 13th at noon under The Wishing Tree as Rohi’s Readery presents Revolutionary Storytime all about Juneteenth*.

We’ll be reading a very special book introducing the history and relevance of this important day coming up and including a mini-lesson to engage in conversations beyond our time together. The strength of Black history lifts us ALL Revolutionary Readers.

*Juneteenth, celebrated annually on June 19th, commemorates the day in 1865 on which 250,000 people in Texas found out they had been freed from being enslaved.
