Ornament-making class with Norton Museum of Art

The Norton is popping up at The Square. In this pop-up studio, children and their accompanying grown-ups create an alebrije ornament. 

This activity is inspired by the Norton Museum of Art’s special exhibition Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Mexican Modernism. Families will learn about the rich Mexican art tradition of alebrije sculptures and then make an alebrije-inspired ornament to hang at home.

Program is free and open to the public.
