Norton Art Pop Up: Spray Paint Florals

Join Norton teaching artist Jose Mendez and the Museum's Afterschool Arts Outreach partner, the Police Athletic League (PAL), for a drop-in style art workshop that pays homage to the floral streets of West Palm Beach, specifically Tamarind Avenue.

PAL teens will guide you in creating your spray paint designs using water-based nontoxic acrylics and some unique spray techniques involving spray bottles and toothbrushes. For your floral pattern, the teens have designed stencils inspired by the beautiful mosaic of tamarind flowers on the Police Athletic League building.

This free outdoor, physically distanced activity is open to all ages.
