CreativeMornings featuring Pranoo Kumar

CreativeMornings is back for in-person events and returning to The Square to host an inspiring morning discussion with Rohi's Readery founder Pranati "Pranoo" Kumar as a part of their series on Folklore.

Details:

About the speaker:

Pranoo is the proud immigrant daughter of Konkani Indian parents, a career changer from medicine to education, a mother, wife and educator devoted to liberating education. She recently opened West Palm’s Rohi’s Readery, a social justice driven children’s bookstore and learning center committed to critical literacy that promotes inclusivity and diversity. Whether they are books that are showing characters in beautiful shades of Black and Brown, those who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community, the disability and neurodiverse community, or information that has historically been presented inaccurately, the goal of the Readery is for children to see themselves in the pages of a book and learn about those different than themselves.
