Wellness Wednesday: Crossfit Squad
Crossfit Squad believes in making exercise accessible for everyone. While the sport of Crossfit showcases elite athletes, the core of the CrossFit community are everyday people seeking to become the best version of themselves.
Led by owner and head coach, Derek Bishop, each class will begin with a thorough warm up focusing on an increased heart rate and targeting muscles that will be used in the workout following. Movements in the will vary but staples include: squats, lunges, burpees, push ups, and more.
Don’t have the perfect push up? Don’t worry! We will cover not only the correct and safe way to perform each movement but several variations to accommodate your exact fitness level before starting each workout. The Crossfit experience is different for every person, that is how it is supposed to be!
