What to Expect from Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa is one of the most contemporary yoga styles that encompass power yoga and Ashtanga. You can expect occasional vigorous movements from pose to pose. Remember, we’re challenging ourselves for a charity.
The speed and complexity will vary based on teacher style. Jennifer Martin is known as a challenging teacher that brings a rewarding stretch to your day. Some yoga classes comprise warm-up stretches at the onset while others go straight into standing poses.
Benefits of Vinyasa Yoga
If you’re uncertain about enrolling in one of our events in West Palm Beach, FL, here’s a list of benefits you can expect.
This type of yoga keeps you shifting from asana to asana, joining every pose to an exhale and inhale. Instructors keep the movement flow continuous and smooth, helping you to remain present throughout the session. If you discover your mind is wandering off between sequences or poses, Vinyasa is for you.
Vinyasa shares similarities with Ashtanga yoga, which links constant sequence through the breath. However, Ashtanga uses a controlled sequence of poses while Vinyasa encourages more flexibility. Instructors are free to combine the order of poses or introduce something new and unforeseen. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about repeating a similar routine over and over.
Cardio is a significant aspect of every fitness routine. The constant sequence of Vinyasa yoga is excellent for your heart even if the pace is comparatively slow. Therefore, if you want to work up a sweat, consider taking a yoga class.
It’s ideal for beginners
Since this yoga style is diverse, you can easily find classes tailored for all experience levels such as beginner, moderate and expert. Moreover, the style is a great way of learning the basics of yoga breathing because the instructor will inform you when to exhale and inhale during every pose.
If you’ve never tried yoga because of uncertainties or misconceptions, perhaps it’s time you enrolled in a class where you’ll enjoy a unique experience.
