Music for the Mind Concert Series

Another musical event going on during November is the Music for the Mind Concert Series. What is Music for the Mind? It’s a concert series that is presented by the Kretzer Piano Music CityPlaceFoundation. This concert series features groups from Palm Beach and Martin County playing beautiful music.

The Music for the Mind concerts happens on the third Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in the Harriet Theater at CityPlace. Tickets for the Music for the Mind Series cost $15 for adults and $5 for students. Proceeds go to the performing organization.

What is the Kretzer Piano Music Foundation, and why do they put on this concert series? The Kretzer Piano Music Foundation is a non-profit organization that strives to bring the gift of music to seniors and children. They do so by providing performance opportunities like the Music for the Mind Series and others. They also offer scholarships to children who can’t afford music lessons. Additionally, the Kretzer Piano Music Foundation donates pianos to children’s charities. They want to spread the gift of music, and the Music for the Mind Concert Series is just one way they do that.
