District Fit: October 19th – 21stDistrict Fit is a large-scale wellness festival that will be going on in downtown West Palm Beach. This event runs from October 19th through the 21st and features speakers, workout classes, live entertainment, holistic seminars, and more. There will be activities to interest everyone during District Fit including more than 20 fitness classes that will be open to the public many of which will be free of charge. Learn more about the event below, and some of the specific activities that will be offered.

Farm to Hilton: A Vegan DinnerKick off this healthcentered weekend with a tasty vegan meal. District Fit is sponsoring the Farm to Hilton Vegan Dinner on Thursday, October 18th. Prepared by Executive Chef Miguel Santiago, in partnership with Vegan Approved and Swank Farms at Hilton West Palm Beach this meal will include delicious and guilt-free food.

Even if you are a vegan skeptic, come give it a try. Chef Santiago’s vegan offerings may just change your mind. You can RSVP and buy a ticket for this event right here. Also, throughout the weekend of District Fit, you can learn more about the impact that food has on your body with classes, demos, and seminars.

Fun Run with Palm Beach Road RunnersAnother excellent way to participate in District Fit is to join a fun run with the Palm Beach Road Runners. This run will be happening on Friday, October 19th, at 6 pm. It starts at the CityPlace square and ends at Hilton in West Palm Beach. The first 50 runners that finish will receive four free hours of parking validation at the CityPlace garages. Every runner will be awarded a free beer ticket redeemable at Galley. Join your community of runners for an evening jog to start District Fit right.

Zumba for a Cure While District Fit will be offering workout options throughout the weekend, this event will also contribute to a great cause. Zumba for a Cure will be raising money for those fighting breast cancer. You can join this class for just $10, and all of the money goes toward a family in need. Zumba instructors Janice and Alexsa will be teaching this one-hour Zumba class at 9 am on Saturday, October 20th. You can also participate in the cooldown with Cancer Exercise Specialist Shannon Burrows who will share her unique perspective and what she has learned from being a cancer survivor and fitness instructor. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to work out and support a fantastic cause.

Twilight ToneOn Saturday, October 20th, you can be a part of the Twilight Tone at Hilton West Palm Beach. This event will include body toning classes, yoga, and sleep practices. It will also feature live cooking demonstrations, a silent auction, pop-up retail experiences, massages, and more.

As you can see, there are a lot of great activities going on during District Fit from October 19th through October 21st. The activities discussed above are only a few of the options available to you. This event will also have several special guest instructors teaching a variety of different fitness classes. Some of the classes include:
