City Cellar Supports No Kid Hungry Fundraiser
Cucumber Basil Martini – Sales Through March 31
City Cellar is shaking up the cocktail scene through the month of March, featuring an inspired Cucumber Basil Martini, in support of The Shake Up cocktail fundraising competition. A portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, while building anticipation for the culinary event of the season, the Palm Beach Taste of the Nation at the Kravis Center on Thursday, April 20. From March 1-31, patrons and diners are encouraged to use the social media hashtag #ShakeUp4NKH and post a picture of the crisp emerald green martini to increase awareness for the campaign’s efforts to connect kids with the healthy food they need.
The Cucumber Basil Martini, created by general manager Michael (Iggy) Ignatowicz, captures the essence of a freshly sliced cucumber, with a hint of basil and floral aromatics, and is priced at $15. It’s made with USDA-certified organic Crop Harvest Earth artisanal flavored vodka, muddled basil, agave nectar and lemon juice. Meet-up and indulge during City Cellar’s Happy Hour from 4 p.m. -7p.m. daily at the bar and the signature martini is half price
