CITYPLACE TO HOST MIAMI DOLPHINS DRAFT EVENT
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 6, 2009) - CityPlace will make the dreams of many South Florida sports fans come true on Saturday, Apr. 25 when the Miami Dolphins come to the property to celebrate the 2009 National Football League Draft.
The Dolphins Draft event will take place at CityPlace’s main fountain plaza starting at 4 p.m. Miami Dolphins alumni and cheerleaders will be on site to sign autographs and take photos with fans. To add to the day’s excitement, the Dolphins cheerleaders will put on a special dance performance and the plaza will be packed with family-friendly activities that include games, a bounce house and more. Fins Force, the Miami Dolphins’ interactive team, will conduct contests throughout the day and The Gater 98.7 FM will also take part in the celebration on the plaza.
The football festivities will continue upstairs with a live broadcast of the NFL Draft at Brewzzi, which is hosting a Draft party for fans. Happy hour prices and select half-priced appetizers will be offered to the public while ESPN Radio 760 AM broadcasts live.
Stephen M. Ross – chairman and chief executive officer of Related Companies, developer of CityPlace – recently purchased majority ownership of the Dolphins franchise. The 2009 Dolphins draft event at CityPlace is one of the many efforts that are planned by Ross to improve the overall fan experience.
